Celebration of the Eucharist
The Eucharist is the source and summit of Christian life. As baptized Christians gathered in community around the table of the Lord, we celebrate the presence of Jesus Christ in our midst. Through the proclamation of God’s Word, and the sharing in the Body and Blood of Jesus we are brought into deeper unity with one another in God. It is through this proclamation of the death and resurrection of the Lord that we are sent forth as witnesses of Christ’s holy, caring and compassionate presence in the world.
